WHAT IS GLOUCESTERSHIRE LIKE?

Gloucestershire is based in the South West of England. It has a rich history from the 10^th Century and was mentioned in the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle. It is made up of the fertile valley from the River Severn, the whole Forest of Dean and the Cotswold Hills. Gloucestershire suffered its worst atrocity of recent times in July 2007 when it got flooded; the worst recorded in British History with several thousands of people being displaced as a result of it. Many ramblers are attracted by the Daffodil Way which is renowned for its woodland, flowers and orchards.
