Lincolnshire is based on the Eastern side of England and has a large coastline with the North Sea. It has England’s smallest county border with Northamptonshire of just 20 yards. Its headquarters are in the city of Lincoln. Lincolnshire is the second largest ceremonial county in England and is agricultural in land use. It is renowned the Lincolnshire Wolds and Lincolnshire Fens. It is also the birthplace of Sir Isaac Newton who attended The King’s School in Grantham. The library at the school has preserved his signature and carved it into a window sill.
