11 PLUS (11+) FOR PARENTS – BERKSHIRE SELECTIVE SCHOOLS

There are 4 mixed selective'schools, 1 boys selective'school and 2 girls selective'schools in Berkshire. One school follows the GL Assessment (University of Edinburgh) 11 plus selection test and the rest follow for the CEM (University of Durham) 11 plus selection test.

WHAT IS BERKSHIRE LIKE?

Berkshire was made the Royal County of Berkshire by the Queen in 1957 because of Windsor Castle lying there. It has a population of around 910,000 people. It is the birthplace of Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge. It is considered a romantic county with its many beautiful gardens and picturesque towns and villages.
