The 11+ ultimate mental maths resource is designed to make children 11+ mental maths ready in 120 days by completing 20 questions a day. The maths questions are progressive and become increasingly harder as you move through the booklet. It works best when children are made to attain full marks for each day before moving onto the next day's questions. An early start is recommended to allow sufficient time for repetition and the build up of speed. This resource is for 9 - 11 year olds, but can be used with able 8 year olds. Being sharp with mental maths will enable children to answer questions more efficiently in the 11 plus, leaving them more time for challenge questions. It is very common for children to run out of time in the 11 plus exam due to being inefficient with their mental maths skills. This often leads to lower marks costing children places in grammar schools.
